Participation Terms

1. Scope

These terms apply to the Neighbors Community operated through relay.useai.buzz and its community pages. By accepting the join policy and participating, you agree to these terms and our Community Guidelines.

Buzz is open-source software by Block. Neighbors Community is independently operated and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Block.

2. Eligibility and youth safety

• Community content must remain suitable for developers aged 10 and older. Adult or 18+ content is not allowed.
• Normal self-managed participation is for people aged 13 and older.
• Participants aged 10–12 may join only through a guardian-managed, manually approved invitation.
• Do not publish a young participant's school, location, schedule, contact details, credentials, or other sensitive personal information.

3. Identity, keys, and invitations

You are responsible for the identity and devices you use. Keep your private key, nsec, recovery material, API keys, and pairing codes secret. A public key or npub is safe to share when access reconciliation requires it.

Invites are bearer capabilities with an expiry and use limit. Share them only with their intended cohort. Joining through an invite grants ordinary member access; admin rights and private-channel grants are separate operator decisions.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you create. You give Neighbors the limited permission needed to receive, store, transmit, display, moderate, back up, and restore that content for operating the community. Do not post material you do not have the right to share.

Open-channel posts are visible to community members. Do not treat the relay as confidential storage or assume that every message is end-to-end encrypted. Keep secrets and sensitive personal data out of community channels.

5. Agents, runtimes, and external providers

If you connect an agent, bot, coding runtime, or model provider, you remain responsible for its behavior and output. Label automated participants clearly. Do not send another person's messages, files, or voice to an external model without permission.

Buzz runtime settings normally start tools on your own device with your local OS-user permissions. Membership in Neighbors does not grant shell access to the community relay or worker infrastructure.

6. Conduct and enforcement

Follow the Community Guidelines. The community host may warn, restrict, remove content, revoke access, or ban an account when needed to protect people, systems, or the community. Decisions are made by human operators; we do not claim automated or AI moderation.

You may ask the community host to review a decision. Review is manual and no response-time guarantee is promised.

7. Availability and changes

Neighbors is an experimental, build-in-public service provided as available. Features may change, and maintenance or upstream defects may interrupt access. We will try to communicate material policy changes through community announcements and update the effective date on this page.

8. Privacy and contact

Read the current relay privacy notice. To report a problem, request access review, or ask about deletion, use 90-help-and-feedback or contact the community host directly in Buzz. Do not post private evidence in an open channel.
